We visited BB Cafe today to celebrate our little boy’s 7-month birthday, and it was such a lovely and memorable experience. The cafe has a beautiful, cozy ambiance that’s perfect for spending some quality time. The coffee was excellent, and the baked goods were fresh and delicious. The indoor seating area is a bit small, so it can feel a little congested when it’s busy, and the prices are on the higher side. One thing to note for families with young children is that they don’t have child high chairs available, which would have made our visit a little more comfortable.
This café is an absolute gem for anyone who loves Persian pastries and desserts. I’ve tried so many items from their menu, and everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully made. My favorite was the chocolate cake, it was incredibly fresh, rich, and flavorful without being overly sweet, which made it perfect. I also tried the pomegranate and saffron ice creams, and both were amazing with unique, authentic flavors. Their fresh breads were soft, tasty, and clearly made with care. The savory snacks were excellent as well. The pomegranate cake and the roulade had such distinctive flavors that I still can’t forget their taste. The coffee and tea were just as impressive and paired perfectly with the pastries. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. If you’re looking for authentic Persian pastries, outstanding desserts, and a great café experience, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended!

First time here, and ordered decafe pistachio latte + pomegranate rolled cake. They are latte has a deep flavor and the roll cake is sweet. They notice my enter and were ready to serve me in a second. Desserts comes to me with order, and coffee is served to my table. I like the mood and their vibe. Definitely visit again!
BB Café is one of my favourite places in Ottawa. It has a warm, cozy atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about every customer, creating a space that’s perfect for working, catching up with friends, or simply relaxing. The coffee is consistently excellent, and their Iranian pastries and cakes are absolutely delicious, fresh, authentic, and full of flavour . If you’re looking for a café with great coffee, amazing treats, and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend BB Café!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at BB Cafe on Clyde Avenue, Merivale! ☕✨ The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I really loved the beautiful artwork and the simple yet stylish interior design 🎨😍. The outdoor seating area is also a great spot to relax, especially on a nice day 🌿☀️. The staff was friendly, and the service was good 👍😊. My latte wasn’t the best I’ve had, but I would still give this place 5 stars because the overall vibe, atmosphere, and experience were excellent ☕❤️. Highly recommended! 🙌✨
